Wet Chemical Fire Extinguishers

The Wet Chemical fire extinguisher is commonly found in restaurant environments. This is the preferred extinguisher for use on Class F Fires, and is required in many commercial kitchen applications. Class F Fires include cooking oils and fats, for example on deep fryers.

Wet chemical extinguishers are also able to be used on Class A fires, but should never be used on fires involving energised electrical equipment.

These extinguishers are available in 2, 2.5 and 7 litre sizes.
